Hüsker Dü: "Love is All Around" SST Records, 1985. Hüsker Dü is a legendary punk rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, which inspired many other comtemporary punk and alternative bands including Nirvana, among others. The band included Bob Mould on Guitars and Vocals, Grant Hart on Drums and Vocals and Greg Norton on Bass. Bob Mould sings on "Love is All Around", which has only been released as the B-Side of this 7". It wasn't on any of their LP's! On the 7" picture, you can recognize, Hart, Norton and Mould from the left to the right. The band split in 1988 after an 8 year career and Bob Mould went on to form the alternative band Sugar and Grant Hart went on to form Nova Mob. Greg Norton is now a Chef in a Minneapolis hotel. Here is the MP3 sound file of "Love is All Around" (Warning: This is a 1.5 Meg file!) It sure as **** beats that damn Joan Jett and the Blackhearts rendition that everyone seems to love!
